The guardian over 80,000 hectares of some of the world's oldest tropical rainforest, The Endau Rompin National Park covers a large part of north west Johor. The Endau Rompin National Park is Malaysia's second largest national park after Taman Negara, is a lowland dipterocarp rainforest with a myraid of endemic plants and vibrant wildlife. The park is so large that it actually straddles two Malaysian states, Johor and neighbouring Pahang.
Visitors will fins themselves immersed in an ecological journey and exciting adventure that will transport them back to the time when the earth was young, to peruse the unique and rare wildlife and plants that are no longer found elsewhere.
There are two entry points on the Johor side, one through PETA and the other at Selai (Kampung Selai)
Although only certain areas of the park are open to visitors, they still requires special permits from the Wildlife Department to visit, so as to safeguard its ecological treasures.

Endau Rompin National Park is a protected tropical rainforest in the southernmost prolongation of the Tenasserim Hills, Malaysia. It is south of the state of Pahang and northeast of Johor covering an area of approximately 870 km², making it the second-largest national park in Peninsular Malaysia after Taman Negara.
